We are having the annual Midwest Fat Tire Series race in Cape Girardeau on Sunday August 23 and would love to have your area represented. We have a new trail to showcase this year at Klaus Park in Jackson Missouri. From Cape Girardeau Misouri going North on Kingshighway it is just past the I55 when traveling on Kingshighway. As soon as you go under I 55 get in the left lane and prepare to turn on Wedekind, cross over the divided highway, left at the T intersection, go 0.5 miles take a left on Klaus Park Drive. The trail is approximately 3.4 ish miles long and is fast and flowing hard packed dirt with some roots. The entire trail is shaded and great for viewing as it winds in and out of a valley. We will have a Keg donated by Schlafly, Food for sale by Burrittoville, music playing through the two valley systems, nice cinder block restrooms, and two large pavilions to hang out in. Race Times are: 11:00 am Beginners race for 1 hour $25 Marathon race for 3 hours $25 12:30 Sport race for 90 minutes $25 Expert / Pro for 90 minutes $30 SS for 90 minutes $25 The classes will be broken down into age groups.
