Well This is my frist post, Didnt know where to post this so I guess Tech would be the place.
I will be moving to Hot Springs late August, And I want to get my self into the riding seen down where you guys are. At the moment I live in Up state Vermont, Saint Johnsbury at the moment. I work at a power plant and I am moving to a nother power plant.
Enough with the boring part. Up here I run a small bike shop out of my apartment, Not looking to make money, just looking to keep busy. I own 6 bikes, and my room mate owns three, so total of 10 bikes in the house.
My bikes are
a 97 Iron Horse g-out full suspension free ride, with a 150mm front fork and 5 inches in the rear.
a 06 Specialized P2, in parts at the moment a 888 fork in the front
a 99/2000 race frame Gary fisher marlin
a giant boulder 1990 SS convert
a 1980 Apollo fixed convert (town bike)
a 2005 NYC city fixed custom made for me (my baby, carbon fork and many extras, clean bike)
and a harro BMX (toy to hurt my self on)
... that makes 7 bike... oops, i guess i got one confused haha.
anyways, here in Vt and in this town I kinda started the bike culture, when i got here, noone was riding, and i was the only one riding year round, we get tuns of snow up here. And yea i ride inthe snow, cold but fun. And after 4 year of being here and being seen on the streets, the cops leave me alone now, and other people are riding because they still see me a live.
I have been riding all my life, and mountain biking is my first love, but since finding fixed gear a while back, its been a passion. I did SS alot, but fixed is a whole different life style that I love!
So now I'm looking at apartments in the area, Grand Point bay and another close by, three bed rooms, one for the bikes
and looking to meet people that
ride, find the local bike shops to make my pit stops at and shop talk and looking to do some repairs and tunes for people! Again Im not looking to take money
from anyone, or take customers away from the LBS's I just really enjoy working on bikes and talking with people.
So I look forward to chatting with people
