Recently moved to Texarkana and looking for folks to ride with.
I would be interested in driving to Mena and shuttling the old DH course and trying to revive it.

Also, I have spoken with the owner of the skatepark and she showed interest in building some dirt jumps and pump track. I am working on a site plan to show her what we could build. She owns a good sized vacant lot that would be great for some djs and pump track.

Anyone out there that wants to ride?

Ever wonder why the first photo to the right of the ambcs logo on their homepage is an image of a downhill racer? Yet there are only two events a year. I've know people have said that there isn't enough interest for additional races but at the same time i don't see any effort to recruit or discuss options available. I sure dont have all the answers but you would...

Not that anyone actually reads anything here, but just in case.......

there is a group of about 20 riding DH on saturday december 8th in Clayton , OK. Course is technical rock garden basically with some steep chutes for about a 4 minute or so run. We will be getting there at around 9am doing some prep work on course and then riding until dark. check out ride section of rogueposse.net for more info. this is one of the rock gardens there....

Be aware that the Arkansas Freeride Society has recently submitted a proposal and subsequently gained approval for a new freeride park in Burns Park in North Little Rock!

Central Arkansas will soon have North Shore style trails, a wicked 4cross course, and slopestyle/dirtjump area. We will keep posting information as the project develops!

DH I am curious about AMBCS rules, at Devils Den can there be two runs on 2 courses and add times together . just want to know if this is within the AMBCS rules?

I was wondering the story behind lack of DH races this year. Will there be more than 2 races for the '07 season? Cass?....Mena?......any ideas on new locations? Let's make it more fun and longer lasting than it was this year.

Downhill jump work tommorrow

Impromptu jump work tommorrow at Lake Leatherwood. 9am at the bottom of the DH course. Park on the pull off near the Miner's Rock trail.

We will build a second finish line jump, keep detailing the area and possibly work on a new rock garden just up the hill.
