Eureka XC Course

Pre-road the XC course this morning and the course is in great shape. I have a question regards the expert course that I hope someone can clear up. According to the description experts will complete one lap all the way around the lake (old course) and then 2 additional laps on the miners rock loop, finishing in the soccer fields. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, does anyone know the distance of the Miners Rock loop? Thanks!!

There is a nmbs race in Brianhead aug 29-30 I have friends with property to camp,also have place to stay in flagstaff,may try to ride some there. It would be cheep with 3 or 4 people.Let me know if you would like to go.

I am trying to find the specifics for Eureka. I have tried the scheduler, looked at the info, etc. but I can't find specfics:

*Where is registration
*When is registration
*Where is starting line (still in front of Basin Park?)
*What time is start of race?

I apologize if this is a redundant question, I merely can't find it on the site, Calander, or when I click on the specific race in the Calander.

Length of Expert Races

Is is just me, or are the expert level distances getting shorter? Does anyone out there remember the day when all expert level races were never less than 20 miles and more in the 24-30 mile range? It's just my observation that the races seem to be getting shorter. I think the standard used to be: an hour for beginners, 1 1/2-2 hours for sport, and 2 hours plus for experts.
I don't understand why the Expert 40-49 and the ovr 50 racers are getting their distances reduced to the...

I Didn't have time for a transcontinental this year so I'm joining my friends from PAC tours for 9 days and 1000 miles along their southern Transcontinental Route and was wanting to know if anyone else might be interested.

I will be leaving from the MTB Races at Devils Den on September 13th to drive to NM. Will meet up with PAC tours and ride with the group for 9 days leaving monday morning the 15th of September and ending in Arkadelphia on Tueday the 23rd of September....

i'm heading to Thayer, Missouri for 5 days after the 3 legged dog this weekend. Thayer is just across the north central AR line. i'm wondering if anyone knows of a trail system w/ in an hour or so from there. MT. Home may be an hour. not sure about Jonesboro or anything in Missouri. if anyones got some info, your input would be much appreciated.
