TCU jersey lost at Attila

I lost a TCU jersey and a pair of Pearlizumi shorts wrapped in an aqua and white towel at Attila. I placed them on the green electrical transformer box located outside the men's room and then walked off without picking them back up. If anyone finds these items please email me at frank@drstich.com or call my cell 214-208-3956. I will be glad to pay shipping and offer a reward.

Lost- Camelbak hydration pack -black with busted bladder
TCU jersey and Pearl shorts in aqua and white towel
Found- set of keys (looked like they have been there awhile)

Is there anything else we can do to compensate riders for their/our volunteered time working on the trails aside from awarding series points equivalent to a race win? As a competitor I just can't bring myself to accept points in this manner. I am not trying to belittle anyone for doing it but to me it would be like "buying" a touch down in the Superbowl. I guess I just feel like it takes away from the whole point of "racing/competing" in a "racing" series....

Expert MTB race starts

I'd like to see all the experts start at the same time like road racing does. In other states, all the experts start at the same time no matter how old they are. There are usually more guys than we have at AMBCS races (like 70-80 in MN or WI). I hate taking the start line with only 5 or 6 guys. Also, the prize money would be for your placing overall as an expert so the fast guys (not me) would be battling for more money and I think it will lead to more competetive racing and bigger...

Congrats to Scott Dolar who locked up the points series yesterday.

To everyone else - I'm glad that I get to race in the best class in the AMBCS. Sorry I'll be missing the season finale in Hot Springs because I would like one more shot at beating scott this year :-)

For those of you who want to warm up the legs. HSBA is hosting a "non-competitive" road race up West Mountain Drive (road bike). It will be held on Saturday the 21st. at 2:00 p.m. It leaves from Parkside and climbs the 5K summit. Entry fee is $15.00 and gets you a tee and food. For reference I like an 18 at Womble & Vista. Run a 20 at Syllamo & Ouachita Trail. Run a 19 for fun around Camp, Burns, etc...
