Rode Bad Branch Loop this past weekend. It was a little better around some of the uprooted trees. If you decide to ride, wear long sleeves and long pants. It is a Jungle out there! No kidding! There are many briars, blackberry branchs and other sharp limbs that you just can't avoid. Some parts of the trail were completely overtaken by vegatation. It has been very wet this summer, which accounts for the over growth. The trail conditions should improve after the first frost or the next...

I read that no bikes are allowed on the trails in Buffalo River National Park. Does anyone know of any nearby trails I could ride while visiting the park?

Cedar Glade July 20~23

I wanted to see if anyone has any group rides planned for July 20 - 23. The Family likes to sleep late in the Condo, which gives me some free time in the am to ride. I did the same thing last year but wished I had someone to share the spider sweep.

Rode the Bad Branch Loop this past weekend. Conditions were hot and humid, the trail for the most part is in good shape. There are several things to be aware of when riding, such as the past winter ice storn has uprooted several trees on the trail and left a crater. Most riders have started a trail on the uphill side of the crater. It can be slick so be careful. This past weekend's storm has downed several trees that you have to climb over or go around. I would love to ride some of AR's trails but couldn't find any tracks (singletracks.com) or trails in the area using google. I'm hoping some of you AR residents could point me to some good trails in the vicinity of Petit Jean Park, the closer the better, say within a 15 minute drive radius max.
